Hi! Let’s just say it: owning a business is not for the faint of heart. It’s rewarding. It’s stressful. It’s messy. Some days you feel like a genius… and other days you Google, “Can I sell my business and move to a beach?” (No judgment.)
I grew up in my family’s body shop. Payroll happened at the kitchen table. After-school activities included hanging out at the shop and finding ways not to get in the way. I didn’t just learn business — I lived it.
Years later, I bought that same business. I grew it. Expanded it. Made mistakes. Fixed them. Learned cash flow the hard way. Built a team. Tightened operations. Had more than a few 3 a.m. “why did I do this?” moments.
And then I sold it. Earlier than I expected.
I retired at 44, not because I was done working, but because the business was strong enough to give me options. That only happened because we built it intentionally: solid numbers, clear services, good systems, and a team that didn’t need me hovering over every decision. (Trust me, that part takes work.)
Now I help other business owners do the same thing. We clean up financials. We clarify your products and services. We fix operational gaps. We build a business that runs better — and doesn’t require you to be the hero every single day. And here’s the part that matters to me: strong businesses build strong communities. They create jobs, support local causes, and keep towns growing. When your business is healthy, the ripple effect is real.
